RAY, READING and RELAXATION
Ray, Maggie and I went for what Ray calls “a short” walk on Saturday - but I don’t -and I haven’t been for another one since. THEY go for two - daily. But on Saturday’s walk, we stumbled across a mini fair with, probably, 20 stalls from Rotary to the local Baptist church who had forgotten their banner.
And an area displaying exotic birds including this kookaburra
And owl + several more, but my phone decided to go on strike so no more photosWe also went grocery shopping at Marks and Spensers - so many people and so much to chose from … but no clothing and therefore not a single “bum enhancer” in sight, although the confectionary aisle could have achieved the same effect, I guess. Later, Sarah and Richard joined us for dinner at a pub/restaurant situated between the two houses and we did our best to enhance our physiques, there, instead.
It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, visiting everyone, so I’ve had two days “off” to adjust my suitcase and realise that in a month’s time, I’ll be making my way to Singapore and on my way home. I’m really enjoying catching up with everyone and having a long needed “family fix”. But I’m also missing everyone at home. Never happy!!
As I write this, Maggie has decided it’s time for an afternoon treat - Ray has made her a self-service buffet
Anatolian Shepherd, golden retriever and chihuahua mix
A rescue dog from Rumania
Who has really fallen on her feet, scoring Ray as her best friend
